It was a pleasure to spend some time with my brother Andy and his partner Laura, as well as baby Lowen, on a day out in Bridgnorth in Shropshire.
A picturesque little town set on the banks of the River Severn, split into ‘low town’ at river level and ‘high town’ atop a cliff. We had afternoon tea by the river, then a ride on the cable car up to the high town, enjoyed a beer at the Severn Valley rail station, before dining at The Old Castle.
