Earlier this summer, I’d decided I wanted to go away on holiday again for my birthday, and my aim was to stay somewhere on the beach and finally get to enjoy some decent weather!
I was originally planning to go back to Borth yet again, however the only properties available for the week that I wanted were either too expensive, or ones I had stayed at previously. So I broadened my search a little wider, and started to look for somewhere in nearby Aberdovey. While browsing Airbnb, I happened upon a place that looked great, but didn’t look like it was in Aberdovey, as there are no properties on the beach-side of the road there!
Turned out this place was in nearby Tywyn, a bit further up the coast from Aberdovey. So somewhere completely new for me!
Had a great time here staying at the Venedotia Beach House (click here for Airbnb listing) and luck would have it the weather has been mostly amazing, apart from some wind and rain on the Sunday after I arrived. So I finally got my wish – to stay in a beachside property, and enjoy the balcony and outdoor space!
Just as easy to get to as Borth as well, same train from Birmingham which splits at Machynlleth and carries on along the Cambrian Coast Line towards Pwllheli.
